The second opinion your prospects already want, with your name on it.
Tally shows people exactly what their current advisor and funds cost, in plain English, from a statement they upload themselves. Put it on your website. When they see the number, the "Book a call" button is yours.
for one advisor, or $1,990/year billed yearly. Firms with up to five advisors pay $499/month.
- Your firm name, logo and color on every page
- Unlimited visitors and analyses
- "Book a call" requests emailed to you, with a fee summary
- No per-lead fees, no contract, cancel any time
One new client covers years of the fee. Fee-only fiduciaries only; Tally checks the SEC record.
How it works
Pay, and within a minute you have a link like tally.example/a/your-firm plus an email with a private management link. Set your logo, color and where requests should go. No passwords.
They upload a statement or type in their holdings. The statement is read in their browser, and nothing about them is stored. They see their all-in cost, cheaper equivalents for each fund, and what the difference compounds to.
The only next-step card on your page is yours. When someone asks for a call, you get their name, email and a redacted fee summary (weights and fees, no balances). They tick a box to allow it.
What stays the same, on purpose
The analysis on your page is identical to the public one. Fund matches, alternatives, projections and warnings come from the same engine for everyone, and you cannot change a number or a sentence inside it. Your page says at the top that Tally built the calculator. That is what makes it credible to a skeptical prospect, and it is why we can offer it to fee-only fiduciaries only.
- Same fee data from SEC prospectus filings
- Same low-cost alternatives, in the same order
- Same privacy: statements never leave the browser
- Same disclosure to visitors that you pay Tally a flat fee
Questions advisors ask
Who can sign up?
Registered investment advisers that act as fiduciaries at all times and charge no commissions and no percentage-of-assets fees: flat, hourly or subscription. You attest to this when you sign up and we check the CRD you give against the SEC record. If it does not match, the page is turned off and the month refunded.
Can I show my own fee?
Yes. On the management page you can enter your flat or subscription fee. The results then use it as the advice cost in the after-switching scenario, labeled as yours, so prospects compare their current cost with what they would pay you. Hourly fees are shown on the card but not put into the projection.
What do I receive when someone books a call?
Their name, email, optional phone and message, and a summary of the analysis they saw, scaled to a $100,000 sample portfolio: the funds and their weights, each fund's fee and their current advisor fee. Never their real balances or their statement. They have to tick a consent box first.
Is this compliant with the marketing rule?
Tally is not paid per client and does not recommend you; your page discloses that you pay Tally a flat fee for the software. Whether a testimonial or endorsement rule applies to your own use of the page is a question for your compliance officer, and we are happy to share the exact wording we show.
What is the difference between Solo and Firm?
Solo puts one advisor on the Book a call card and sends every request to one inbox. Firm lists up to five advisors, lets the visitor pick who they want to talk to, routes each request to that person, and includes a paid API key so you can run the same analysis inside your own tools. Both use the identical engine and page.
Can I embed it on my site?
Link to your page from your site today. Firm subscribers can also use the API and the embeddable widget described on the developers page with the key included in their plan.
How do I cancel?
Email us from the address on the account and the subscription ends at the close of the billing period. Your page then shows a not-available message and no new requests are accepted.
Two plans, one price each
Flat subscriptions. Tally is never paid per lead or per client, which is what lets your page say so to every visitor.
- One advisor on the "Book a call" card
- Branded page: your name, logo and color
- Requests emailed to you with a redacted fee summary
- Your own fee shown as the after-switching cost
- Everything in Solo
- Up to five advisors; visitors choose who to talk to
- Each request routed to that advisor's inbox
- API access for your own tools and site (10,000 calls a day)
Tally is an educational tool, not an investment adviser, and does not recommend advisors. How Tally makes money, including this program, is listed on the disclosures page.
